History
-
17th century
The 450-year-old history of our house begins with the barn with its bowling alley in the 17th century and a beer brewery where drinkable barley juice was brewed until 1885. The former parent house still stands in its place today.

1965
The butcher's shop, which belonged to the economy, is closed and the first guest rooms are furnished.
-
1978
A good decade later, in 1978, we further upgrade our restaurant with a comprehensive renovation. In the middle of the 1980s we acquired a neighbouring house and converted it into a country house of the three-star category.
-
1990
A new hotel of the four-star category, adjacent to our head office, completes our hotel offer on a total of 50 rooms.
-
2000
Since the year 2000 I, Alexander Asbrock, have been continuing the family history that had begun 100 years earlier with the takeover of the inn and butcher's shop from my great-grandmother Monika Waibel.

2014
We supplement our business with 10 Business Suites at the town hall in Oberkochen. These are modern flats or apartments, fully furnished and with separate kitchen with the possibility for long-term travelers and employees of the industry in and around Aalen and Oberkochen to offer living with hotel comfort.

2015
We renovate our entire restaurant area and begin with the reorganization of the hotel rooms.
